My first haiku

I might have written one in primary, but as far as I can remember, this is my first haiku

Seeking fulfilment
Wandering restless mountains
Nothing to talk about

And here’s a sonnet to compliment it:

I reach for the disk that contains the world
I spin it on an axis of it’s own
In the space before me, vision unfurls
Cities, valleys, villages quickly shown.
In the night I poured my heart into words
They shall last for all time for all to see
In a place where eggs are not laid by birds
While the world is waiting they shall not be.
Crying at the moon how many lament
Their ideas and thoughts like seeds on rocks
Frustration waiting for the world to rent
Darkly watching man like wolf watching flock.
Ideas and thoughts be wary of wearing
When they live in you at their own willing.
