All animals, especially mammals, have a nervous and central nervous system just like our own. So when deciding how to treat those animals, we should imagine ourselves in their position.
We have to take our mind into those dark forgotten corners of the world where pigs fester in feces, covered in sores, and are processed on slaughter lines that don’t have time for respect or care. We need to be turned upside down while our throat is slit like a cow in kosher slaughter. We need to recover from cranial electric shock to find blood draining from a slit in our throat, and then be thrust, fully conscious, into a vat of boiling water. We need to be hit, stomped on, prodded and shocked, slammed on things, thrown days old but fully conscious into grinders, locked in tiny cages in the dark with other stressed animals, throw into cages on trucks, stuffed by the thousands into garbage bags, violently inseminated, force fed with a hose, shot in the head, ripped apart alive and be left to die on a heap, with no skin.

With power comes responsibility. We dominate animals, but we don’t need to hurt them in any way. We can get all we need from plants. So if you haven’t been urged before, try it out today. Help change the world for the better, for animals and humans. It doesn’t take any special knowledge. Just substitute more grains, vegetables and legumes for animal products. From there you can investigate the amazing world of vegan food!
It’s not my angst on the line. I’m over that… I more or less accept the world I live in but try to live on my own terms as much as possible. Still sometimes I wish I do more to let others, maybe someone like you, what the human race puts other animals through. Because I imagine that if you knew, you’d change like I did.
